CEO: Rostelecom-Solar to invest 9 bln rbl in own products in 3 yrs
MOSCOW, Apr 13 (PRIME) -- Russian cybersecurity company Rostelecom-Solar will invest 8.8 billion rubles in creation and development of own technologies in the next three years instead of on acquisitions planned earlier, CEO Igor Lyapunov said late on Wednesday.
“We are truly ready to invest in it, we are ready to invest money in Russian security technologies,” Lyapunov said during a presentation of the company’s products.
Lyapunov said there are few companies in Russia that are interesting for investment, with good technologies that could be targets for acquisition.
“This is why we’ve redistributed the bulk (of the budget) for creation of our own technologies. We consciously moved toward the creation of our own ecosystem,” he said.
